The 2026 "Yuxing Diamond Cup" Mile Taiping Lake Auto Rally officially kicked off from April 24th to 26th. The event brought together 85 race cars and drivers from Malaysia, Thailand, Ireland, Finland, Russia, Slovenia, and Mainland China to the shores of Taiping Lake for a high-speed showdown. 

A Victorious Return for Gunaseelan Rajoo

Malaysian rally driver Gunaseelan Rajoo made his return to the track after a 15-year hiatus. Partnering with co-driver Zhang (also known as "Malay Zhang"), Rajoo demonstrated intense competitive spirit and tenacity throughout the race.  

His comeback was marked by impressive results:  

• 2nd Place in the 1400cc (1.4L) category.  
• 6th Place in the International Open category.  

This performance signals a successful return to international motorsport for the veteran driver.
