Masuma crosspieces are available for propeller shafts and for steering shafts. The strength of the cross directly depends on its heat treatment . According to Masuma technology, all crosses are hardened in a thermal furnace for 36–40 hours , which largely ensures their high quality. Mandatory control of hardness and geometry of each batch, metallographic control and mechanical tests are also carried out. Most of the crosses are equipped with a grease fitting, which allows you to periodically service (lubricate) the moving part of the cross, which significantly increases its resource.
