WIPERS & WINTER WIPERS
■ Wipers are essential devices mounted on the vehicle's windshield, designed to clear rain and debris from the windshield. Their primary function is to improve the driver's visibility, thereby enhancing driving safety. The wiper system consists of an electric motor, a reducer, a four-link mechanism, wiper arm spindles, and wiper blades, among other components. Driven by the motor, it cleans a large area of the windshield. Due to legal requirements, almost all vehicles worldwide are equipped with wipers.
■ The wiper utilizes the rotational power of the electric motor, converting rotary motion into the reciprocating motion of the wiper arm and blade via the reducer and four-link mechanism, thereby clearing rainwater or debris from the windshield. This equipment plays a vital role in driving safety by effectively preventing rain or contaminants from obstructing the driver's view.

Rear Wiper (Silicone Version)
■ Possesses super-strong water repellency; effectively clears water from the glass, ensuring an excellent field of vision.
■ Features relatively high wear resistance and a longer service life. Produces less noise during operation of the silicone coating.

Rear Winter Wiper Series
■ A rear winter wiper is used to wipe away rainwater, snow accumulation, and clean the rear windshield, ensuring a clear view to the rear.
■ Prolonged use can lead to aging and deformation, causing issues like incomplete wiping or chatter, thus requiring periodic replacement.
■ Rear winter wipers are mainly equipped on SUVs, MPVs, and hatchbacks, and are relatively uncommon on sedans. This is due to two reasons:
1. Aerodynamics cause the rear windshield of hatchbacks to get dirty more easily than that of sedans.
2. The rear windshield glass of sedans has a steeper angle of inclination, allowing high-speed airflow to pass over it. Installing a rear winter wiper would increase drag, and its effectiveness would also be less than ideal.

Truck & Bus Wipers
■ Many truck drivers pay insufficient attention to the standardized use and routine maintenance of wipers, leading to poor performance when needed. Wipers may fail prematurely and can even cause some damage to the windshield. Wiper blades are used frequently in cloudy and rainy weather, facing high-temperature exposure, winter cold, sand, dust, acid rain, corrosion, and wind erosion. Therefore, correct usage and maintenance are crucial.
■ The wiper systems for trucks and buses undertake more demanding tasks. Facing large windshields, harsh long-distance driving conditions, and complex, variable weather, professionally designed commercial vehicle wipers must possess greater durability, stability, and cleaning capability.

How to Install Wipers Correctly

1. Lift the wiper arm and remove the old wiper.
2. Place foam or cardboard on the glass and gently lower the arm back into position (Important: prevent the wiper arm from striking or scratching the glass).
3. Based on the type of wiper arm on your vehicle, select the appropriate adapter from the parts kit. During installation, you must hear a "click" sound to ensure it is securely attached to your wiper.
4. As different manufacturers design varying assembly dimensions, the provided adapter heads are only for use with the corresponding wipers.
5. For wiper installation, refer to the installation instructions provided on the back of the packaging to ensure it is firmly attached to the wiper arm.
6. Wiper installation should ensure: The fixed end of the rubber blade faces downward (arrow indicator faces upward). The LOGO/trademark faces upward (visible from the driver's seat). The wind deflector faces downward.
7. Before installing the wiper, clean the glass surface to remove car wax, oil stains, dust, and other foreign matter.
8. For series with silver-powder-coated rubber edges, perform dry wiping for 1-3 minutes before formal use, then spray water and wipe.
9. If the installed wiper does not wipe clean, clean the rubber edge of the blade with a clean cloth.
Factors Affecting Wiper Blade Wiping Performance
1. Mismatch between the curvature of the car's windshield and the wiper blade's structural design (pressure distribution).
2. Presence of oil film, wax, or dirt on the windshield surface.
3. Defects in the wiper system assembly:
■ Poor electrical contact in the motor circuit or unsteady transmission among components (motor, arm, linkage) can cause chattering during operation.
■ Excessive motor load can prevent wiping (resulting in intermittent wiping or complete wiper stall).
■ Insufficient arm pressure can cause incomplete wiping (leaving fine lines or water streaks).
■ Excessive arm pressure can cause a bluing phenomenon during operation (especially at the blade ends).
■ Incorrect arm angle (side tilt) can cause incomplete wiping on one side.
■ Incorrect arm angle (forward or backward tilt) can cause bouncing at one end or incomplete wiping.
■ Excessive clearance between the arm and the blade head can cause chattering during wiping.
■ Severe wear of the linkage can cause chattering during wiping. Incorrect installation of the wiper blade and poor fit between the blade adapter and the blade. Arm obstructed by ice or snow, causing uneven pressure distribution on the wiper blade. Windshield glass quality (deformation, surface roughness).
When to Replace Wiper Blades
■ General Guideline: Inspect every 6 months, replace once a year.
■ Currently, domestic automobile manufacturers generally do not provide any guarantee regarding the service life of original equipment wipers. The default standard is the first maintenance at 3000-5000 KM or 3 months (whichever comes first).
■ Whether wipers function properly directly impacts driving safety and comfort. We recommend regular inspection and replacement.
