 AIR FILTER

 

■    All air filters of MASUMA are manufactured to the specification of original parts. Its main function is to filter out tiny particles and impurities that enter the combustion chamber of the engine to ensure the clean air intake, thereby reducing the wear of engine parts by dust and other impurities. It mainly characterized by high filtration efficiency, low flow resistance, large dust holding capacity and long service life.

 

 

 PU air filter

 

■    MASUMA PU air filters are formed in one piece using fully automated injection molding and paper-folding equipment. The biodegradable sealing foam material offers excellent elasticity, ensuring a perfect seal between the filter and the housing.
■    The MASUMA fully-impregnated paper PU air filter, whose elements are regarded as premium products, offers the following advantages:
Good breathability and filtration performance. The fully-impregnated paper air filter provides excellent air permeability and filtration, effectively removing impurities and fine dust from the air.
Superior moisture and water resistance. Compared with semi-impregnated paper filters, the fully-impregnated paper offers better moisture and water resistance, maintaining stable performance even in humid environments without deformation due to dampness. It retains excellent breathability even after absorbing moisture.
Moreover, under harsh driving conditions (such as crossing deep water areas or encountering heavy rain), MASUMA fully-impregnated paper air filters effectively block water from entering, preventing water from being sucked into the engine combustion chamber and affecting engine operation.
Long service life. The fully-impregnated paper material exhibits outstanding durability and stability, typically resulting in a longer service life, reduced replacement frequency, and lower maintenance costs.

 

 

 

■    MASUMA Oil-Soaked PU Air Filter uses Japanese Awa filter paper, characterized by a layer of oil coating the surface of the paper. This oil layer helps capture dust without relying on the thickness of the filter paper or the number of folding layers to enhance filtration. As a result, it offers higher air intake efficiency and stronger filtration, capable of blocking finer impurities and dust. This design gives the oil-soaked air filter the advantages of high airflow and strong filtration performance.

 

 

 

 PP non-woven air filter

 

■    The PP non-woven air filter adopts the one-time molding process of automatic injection molding equipment. The injection molding uses a new PP material. The loading dimensions of products produced by high-precision molds are the same as the original height. The filter material is made of high-weight three-layer composite non-woven fabric, whose material is degradable and non-polluting. The three layers are the coarse filter layer, the middle filter layer and the fine filter layer respectively. The coarse filter layer and the middle filter layer can effectively filter out large and medium particles of dust impurities respectively; while the fine filter layer can capture fine impurities and electronic pollutants well. Therefore, it has the advantages of high filtration accuracy, low resistance, good air permeability, large dust storage capacity, and strong physical support.

 

 

 Eco-friendly air filter

 

■    The filter material is made of high-weight three-layer composite non-woven fabric, whose material is degradable and non-polluting. The three layers are the coarse filter layer, the middle filter layer and the fine filter layer respectively. The coarse filter layer and the middle filter layer can effectively filter out large and medium particles of dust impurities respectively; while the fine filter layer can capture fine impurities and electronic pollutants well. Therefore, it has the advantages of high filtration precision, low resistance, good air permeability, large dust storage capacity, and strong physical support.

 

 

 Bucket Air Filter

 

■    The cover material of the upper and lower ends is PP/PU or cold-rolled sheet. PU styrofoam and brand new PP plastic use automatic injection molding equipment and hot melt one-time molding process. The end cover of the cold-rolled plate is automatically and continuously punched by a precision die. The filter material includes filter paper and non-woven fabric, both of which are made of high-quality three-layer composite filter paper. The first layer is the dust holding layer, which is mainly used to filter the impurities of medium and large particles. The second layer is a nest-shaped glass fiber layer, which can filter out the moisture in the air with the most ideal stiffness and toughness. The third layer is a nano-scale fine filter layer. It can efficiently filter out the nano-scale fine dust that passes through the glass fiber layer. The filter material is made of high-weight three-layer composite non-woven fabric, whose material is degradable and non-polluting. ■    High-quality high-temperature-resistant hot melt adhesive is used for bonding, which can prevent the adhesive strip from melting and deforming at high temperature. The high-standard gluing process ensures the evenness and neatness of the filter paper folding and smooth air permeability.

 

 

■    With the advantages of high temperature resistance and strong support, the PP material is used to prevent the filter paper from being deformed or damaged due to the super suction of the high-power engine, thus ensuring the stable operation of the filter in various environments. 

 

 

■    High-quality PU foam, characterized by high density, high elasticity, aging resistance and degradability, can be fully integrated with filter paper.

 

 

 

■    The replacement cycle of the air filter is 5,000km to 10,000km. It can be flexibly adjusted depending on the specific vehicle usage.

 

 Installation Steps of Air Filter

 

1.  Open the hood to locate the air filter; remove the locking clip or screw and remove the air filter that needs to be replaced.
2.  Remove dust from the inside of the air filter base with a well-wrung damp cloth or high pressure air gun.
3.  Install a new air filter and related parts (sealing rings, etc.) according to the instructions in the manual. It is necessary to install it in place and lock the snap or screw.
4.  Check and make sure that the locking clips or screws are in place, and that the air filter cabin is working properly, without deformation or gaps.

 

 

1.  The air filter is related to the quality of the intake air of the engine, and has higher intake efficiency requirements. It is recommended to buy products with quality assurance produced by regular manufacturers.
2.  It needs to be cleaned and dusted in a timely manner after taking out the old air filter.
3.  Be sure to install it in place and fit tightly to prevent air leakage.
4.  The inspection work after installation is essential, including the inspection of the connection between the air filter and the engine intake pipe.
